Bishop Oscar Solis, DD, a founding member of Crossroads Pregnancy Resource Center, was born on October 13, 1953, in San Jose City, Philippines. He was ordained as a priest on April 28, 1979, in the Diocese of Cabanatuan, Philippines. Over the years, he has served in both the Archdiocese of Newark and the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux in Louisiana.
On February 10, 2004, Bishop Solis made history by becoming the first Filipino-American to be consecrated as a Bishop, serving the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. In March 2017, he was appointed as the tenth Bishop of the Diocese of Salt Lake City, Utah.
Bishop Solis holds several important positions, including Regional Bishop of the San Pedro Pastoral Region, Chairman of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) Subcommittee on Asian and Pacific Affairs, member of the Committee on Cultural Diversity in the Church, Episcopal Adviser to the National Association of Filipino Priests – USA, and Episcopal Moderator for the Catholic Network of Volunteer Services.
Ned Fasullo regularly produces and performs shows with his own band, the Fabulous Big Band Orchestra, and performs in smaller venues with smaller jazz bands. Whether in clubs performing for the public or donating his time and services to local non-profits to raise money through music, Ned is always building a bigger, better show for the fans!
Ned's singing style, swing or crooning, continues the "art" carried on by other notables such as Harry Connick, Jr., Tony Bennett, Michael Buble, and others. Popular singing of great American standards is one form of entertainment that never loses an audience and is always in style, and Ned is sure to continue to make his mark on audiences around the country for years to come.
Crossroads Pregnancy Resource Center is a non-profit 501c3 Christian organization that has served the region since 2003. We provide women facing unexpected pregnancies with the most accurate information about their choices and provide ongoing support and lasting hope for families. Our goal is to save the unborn by promoting the sanctity of life and sharing the love of Jesus Christ.
Every day, women and men come into our center feeling hopeless and searching for answers amid their crisis. Sometimes, all it takes to help them out of crisis is someone to meet them with compassion, love, and support. We are here to offer just that in a nonjudgmental, safe space.
